Cropthorne Court – Maida Vale W9
Cropthorne Court is a block of apartments designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, who achieved greatest fame for his design of Battersea Power Station and also the Great British telephone and post box. Cropthorne Court is a grade two listed building. We liaised with Westminster conservation officers regarding the replacement of the existing steel windows with double glazed windows of the same appearance. The value of the window contract was around three quarters of a million pounds. The work was carried out by Westleigh Windows. Hart Baskerville Architects acted as project manager administering the contract, liaising with the residential management company and the residents, as well as carrying out extensive programme of on-going inspections of the work for the duration of the contract.
