Sterling Street – Knightsbridge SW7

This is the second house refurbishment in Sterling Street, Knightsbridge, completed by the Practice. These Georgian houses are particularly tall and narrow, and in this case the master bedroom was on the fourth floor, at the top of the house. Our client no longer wanted the exercise of climbing up and down the stairs so we set the conversion of the lower ground floor into a master bedroom suite, incorporating bedroom, shower room and dressing room.

We worked in conjunction with Illaria Coppola Design to produce a finely tailored space with bespoke designed and made wardrobes, bathroom suite and furniture. Because the client was overseas for the majority of the design and build process, all the spaces and furniture were drawn up beforehand in photorealistic visuals. This ensured that client specifications were met, and the furniture was then made by a team of talented joiners
